The X-Men are a very famous super heroes league from the Marvel Comics Universe. They first appeared in the 60’s and originally regrouped characters such as Iceman, Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Beast or Archangel. Through the years, new recruits were added such as Wolverine, Magneto, Havoc, Storm or Nightcrawler. The X-men saga starts when Professor Xavier aka Professor X decides to build the Xavier Institute for Higher Learning in order to train young mutants and get the latter familiar with the different powers they have been gifted with so that they can use them to help humanity and at the same time break the mutant stereotyped image where people tend to see their differences as being problematic. Every mutant super hero has developed different abilities such as freezing temperature creation and manipulation for Iceman; Cosmic energy absorption and plasma blasts generation when it comes to Havok; Night vision, wall crawling or shadow invisibility when it comes to Nightcrawler and weather manipulation for Storm just to list a few. The haven is a shelter vor a long list of X-men characters, but the most famous mutant to this day must be Wolverine a former member of the US Army who also turns out to be part of the Avengers as well as being the leader of the secret X-Force squad.
