Warlords - Conquer Lands Across the Globe Using Strategy, Power, and Speed.

With a wide variety of battle locations and army races, Warlords is a fast-paced strategy game that doesn’t spare the player a moment to blink. Play against the computer or simultaneously with a friend by sharing the keyboard, and see who has what it takes to conquer the most territory. Competitors release one soldier at a time, choosing among swordsmen, spearmen, archers, mounted soldiers, and various other options available to armies of trolls, elves, ogres, or the undead. Soldiers must be prepared before they are sent out, and you will know one is ready when the yellow arrow you control gains a red outline. Move the arrow up and down to place soldiers on the battlefield, or use the left and right arrows to select which type of soldier you want to send out. As your men gain or lose ground, the bar along the top of the screen will indicate how much farther you have to go, or how much ground you have lost and left. Get 20 kills, and you can send a “charge” of eight men, signaled by the yellow arrow turning entirely red. Choose carefully which soldiers you send out; archers can shoot well, but move slowly, and spearmen move fast but are easily defeated by opponents with a stronger weapon and armor.
