Scooby-Doo is Hanna-Barbara’s famous detective Great Dane, he first appeared on TV during the 70’s and has been loved by children of all ages ever since then. He travels the world in the ‘Mystery Machine’ van with four just as famous teenagers, Fred Jones, Daphne Blake, Velma Dinkley and his best friend Norville Rogers mostly known under the nickname of ‘Shaggy’. The team spends most of their time solving mysteries tainted with ghosts, vampires and all sorts of monsters who always turn out to be disguised criminals at the end motivated by vengeances of all sorts. Scooby-Doo also has a cousin named Scooby-Dum who is a little slow-witted, a nephew Scrappy-Doo who on the contrary is a very smart and brave little puppy and a brother Yabba-Doo, a white Great Dane who is good looking and turns out to be the most courageous of all the dogs. Scooby-Doo and Shaggy often get conned into playing the baits in the show, in order to attract the monsters, by their three friends. Both of them are gluttons when it comes to food and for a nice meal or a handful of Scooby-Snacks, they will turn out to be more or less ready to do anything.
