Fred Flintstone has joined a bobsleigh race. In Flintstones Bobsleigh, you are helping him guide his bobsleigh through the course, trying to beat the time. You can pick up spoons, plates of salad, bowls of cereal, and other bonus items to increase your overall score. You must avoid the obstacles, such as towers of snow, ice blocks, tiny trees, and such things. There are checkpoints that reset your time, but if you do not make it to the next checkpoint within that time, the game is over. You are shown your final score, and given the options to quit or play again. There is also a damage indicator on the lower right of the screen. Generally, the damage will not fill the bar before your time runs out, so it is not clear how the damage affects the game. You can also get a bonus for collecting all the letters in the name PEBBLES, which can be found in various places along the course. You get three “Fred”s to work with; each time you run out of time, you lose one of them. When you run out of time, you stop in the course, and two birds hold a sign saying you’re out of time.
