If you like tower defense style games, you will love Garden Inventor! Twenty levels of bug-killing action await you. Each level has a path on which the bugs walk, with your garden at the end. You lose points if the bugs reach your garden, so you have to stop them. Your tools are flowers and gnomes that shoot at the bugs. Upgrading your defense team will increase their effectiveness against the intruders. The interface displays how many intruders are in the path at the time, and the wave counter shows how many more sets of intruders you have to survive to beat the level. Each of your defenses has a basic description of what it is and how it works. Each has several upgrades. All defenses fire automatically when a bug is in range. Every time you defeat a bug, more coins enter your inventory. These coins are what you use to upgrade or buy new defenses. Each new wave resets the countdown to the next wave, but if you defeat the wave soon enough, you can choose to “Send Next” before the time is up, allowing you to rack up bonus points – and coins.
